Invisible Beings is an artistic reflection on loss, memory, and the silent presence of those who are no longer with us. The central element of the series is hung white clothing, imbued with evocation: who hasn't felt the presence of a loved one in the scent that lingers on a garment? From this motif, the artist speaks of the void left by conflicts and the invisible pulse of those who continue to live in our memories.
The figures of wars—which reduce lives to numbers—are transformed here into poetic presences. Each number encapsulates a human being, a story, an inner world, a heartbeat. All wars are, ultimately, small islands of disconnection, disaster, and oblivion within this immense world: spaces inhabited by invisible beings, who continue to pulsate within us, where hearts remain intertwined beyond any border. This series continues to expand and, regrettably, remains relevant. It will be presented in future exhibitions alongside new works that engage with memory and the hope for a peaceful future.
Series initiated in Seville in 2014 and presented in her solo exhibition as part of the "Invisible Beings" project at the Baluarte de la Candelaria (FIT Cádiz, 2015), the complete exhibition occupied fourteen rooms.
