Title: The Root of One is One # 141.
Series: The Root of One is One.
"The Root of One is One" is a series that explores the essential link between earth, body, and creation. Through organic forms and strokes that evoke suspended roots, the works simultaneously convey a sense of belonging and lightness, as if what connects us to the earth also has the power to lift us.
The trees, observed in the forests of Sintra and Huelva, inspire each composition: almost human presences that stretch, float, and breathe. The paintings invite the viewer to recognize their own connection with nature, to feel that within every root there is also an impulse to fly.

Rinat Izhak participated in an artist residency in Valdelarte, in the Sierra de Huelva (Spain), where she carried out an intervention within a forest for the Artierra project.
These experiences, among forests that seemed to have an almost human presence, were the origin of this series.
The works have been presented in collective exhibitions at Contenedor Cultural (2020) and La Seta (Seville 2021) and the retrospective exhibition (2022) "Song of the Birds" at the 33rd Art Exhibition of Las Palmillas, where the artist was honored.
