The need to document one's own reality analyzes and preserves contemporary reality in its images.

The narrative of telling stories about how time and space generate a context in social relationships between human beings and the hostile environment that surrounds them, the city understood as present, past, and future.

It's not just about documenting reality, but also about evoking imaginary landscapes, common places to turn to in these uncertain times where the only thing that doesn't last is the constant change of reality through which we travel, with hardly any time to stop, pause, look, or, much less, look back.

An editorial contributor for Getty Images NYC, he has exhibited internationally in Milan, Lisbon, and New York, as well as at PhotoEspaña, Art Madrid, and Estampa nationally.

Presented at Estampa Contemporary Art Fair 2023, it is part of his most recent documentary series [The Lives of Others] in Havana, Cuba.

The series contains a selection of 25 photographs about life in Havana in 2023.

Daily photographic documentation of the capital's urban landscape and its people, establishing a dialogue between presence and absence.

A city frozen in time, searching for its contemporaneity. Timeless characters and recognizable settings from a contemplative perspective. A visual document of the present moment where traditional colonial architecture coexists with new urban structures seeking to find their place amidst the magnetic chaos.

“The Lives of Others,” Havana, is a memorial for a city that is the pearl of the Caribbean, ravaged by a decadent and magical beauty in equal measure.

The iconic bars of old, the classic cars from the 1950s, the magic, the decadence, the symbols, but above all, the daily lives of its inhabitants. "The Lives of Others in Havana."
