White Rose in homage to Jannis Kounellis. This work inverts the black rose into a white one, on a deep Prussian blue background, transforming a delicate flower into a strong and pure form, exploring the limits of the painting surface and escaping it with a three-dimensional relief, like the Greek master who left the canvas to continue painting beyond it.
