The call for entries for the 35th edition of the BMW Painting Prize closed on July 29th. After an intensive selection process, due to the high participation, the Jury selected the 30 shortlisted works from which the ten finalists and three winners will be selected.

The winner of the 35th BMW Painting Award, as well as the rest of this year's award winners, will be announced in October.

Awards:
For its 35th edition, the BMW Painting Award will award a total of 43,000 euros in prizes. The competition allocates the following amounts to the winners in each category:

BMW Painting Award: 25,000€
Mario Antolín Scholarship for Support in Pictorial Research: 8,000€
Innovation Award: 6,000€
BMW Young Talent Award: 4,000€
