Roger Sanguino, First Prize in the Begur Art Competition.

We would like to congratulate our artist Roger Sanguino for winning the 1st Prize of the 36th Edition of the Begur Plastic Arts Competition 2021.

The event has been organized by the Begur City Council, in Girona, held at the Escoles Velles Cultural Center, in Begur.

During the closing ceremony of the competition, Roger Sanguino received First Prize for his work "Tutta Effigies IX," a piece made of oil and steel/canvas, which is part of his ongoing research into the analysis of portraiture, in which Roger Sanguino disrupts concepts of identity.

This is a recognition that fills us with joy and pride, and motivates us to continue working along these lines that have brought so much success to our artist.
