Marte is an ongoing project that has become the most important art event in the province of Castellón. Marte aims to socialize contemporary art, returning people's right to enjoy contemporary art, giving artists a showcase to express their significance, and making this compatible with a market for quality artwork.

Curated: Coordinated by Nacho Tomás, this section features 20 galleries. These galleries present projects throughout the year and are selected to participate. It also includes the presence of a guest artist and awards to one national artist selected by a curator or collector and one from Castellón, chosen by an external jury.

The excellence of artistic ceramics is the great legacy of the most important industrial sector in the province of Castellón, so it's only logical that it is also a hallmark of MARTE.

Social: Coordinated by Joan Feliu, it has been one of the fair's main focuses since its inception. Its purpose is to promote and transform social consciousness through contemporary art proposals. We work with artists and collectives that represent new visions and narratives in the search for unprecedented perspectives, a convergence of sensibilities, and more sustainable actions, focused on a new dialogue between the techno-scientific and the ecosystemic. The lines of work revolve around ceramic creation and intellectual property, with the support of Safe Creative.

MARTE aligns itself with the 20-30 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, convinced that art must be a driving force of cultural, economic, and sustainable development.

Orbital It brings together institutional and external project participation at the fair. We regularly count on the participation of the Castellón Provincial Council, the Castellón City Council, the Valencian Community Museum Consortium, the MACVAC, and the MIAU Fanzara.

This section of the fair departs from the Auditorium and offers exhibitions at different locations in the province of Castellón, particularly at the Convent Espai d'Art in Vila-real and a special three-month exhibition, which is considered a sub-venue of Marte: the MACVAC in Vilafamés.
