Opening of the DECAIN Series exhibition, by David Heras Verde
At Duckout! Magazine, we fight for culture in all its forms and formats. With this excuse, we're making the leap from digital to in-person through a creative avenue we have a soft spot for: art.
Art understood as a multidisciplinary concept that blends painting, photography, music, and all the elements found in each artist's work. To this end, they will organize a series of monthly events, collectively known as ArtDK!, with the goal of bringing together a selection of contemporary artists with a common goal: to push the boundaries of established norms to achieve a personal connection with each visitor and, above all, to stir their consciences.
ArtDK! will take place in monthly exhibitions until May 2018, taking advantage of the space at the Eugenio Trías Municipal Public Library (formerly the Casa de Fieras) in Madrid.
In addition to the artists invited to each of the events, each visitor will be able to enjoy live music / DJs and catering.
Each exhibition will be open for 15 days from the presentation date and can be visited during regular library hours.
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 10, 2018, ArtDK! presents a collaboration between two artists from different disciplines.
On the one hand, we will be able to enjoy “ Decain ,” a project by David Heras Verde , a Madrid-based artist who bases his creation on fields, on the one hand analogue, a more established conception of art as canvas and paper, and on the other, digital, photographs, illustrations, web elements…
Find a single element constant capable of generating a unique composition with millions of variations.
In the series Determinism, Chaos, Chance, and Uncertainty, DECAIN , the artist explores the relationship between the aforementioned factors and the pictorial space. From a theoretical framework and in a practical way, he investigates the relationship that might exist between all of them and the small differences and boundaries they generate, which become part of the pictorial process, thus giving rise to new questions, doubts, and answers. To what extent is chaos controllable? Is chance the driving force of creation? Is the artist?
Within this same exhibition, we will be able to see the work of Alexandra Khun , graphic designer and graduate in art and artistic professions with “Areolas”
Also presented is “Memory” directed and created by Ana Salomé Branco.
In addition to the work and presence of both artists, you will also be able to enjoy a vermouth tasting by “Destilerías Acha”
