The Bilbao International Festival of Engraving and Paper Art held its 12th edition from November 23 to 26, 2023.

FIG Bilbao, the International Printmaking and Paper Art Fair, will hold its twelfth edition at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, a space located in the heart of the city. The fair will take place from November 23rd to 26th and will feature a full program of activities related to Paper Art.

The Euskalduna Palace, with an area of ​​over 5,000 m2, is located next to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, near the Museum of Fine Arts and close to the Iberdrola Tower and the Aretoa Bizkaia, the auditorium of the Basque University. The Euskalduna's open-plan interior and its excellent transport links make the Fair an attractive event for visitors.

FIG Bilbao maintains its own distinct personality. Its exclusive focus on art on paper gives it a unique character in Spain and Europe. The annual event brings together some fifty national and international galleries dedicated to contemporary and historical graphic art.

During that week in November, Bilbao becomes the center of Paper Art, thanks to a full program of activities during the Fair: forums, meetings, exhibitions, guided tours, children's workshops... not to mention the collaborations between institutions and cultural stakeholders.
