See you at the FIG BILBAO Fair, STAND 16!!!

At DDR Art Gallery, we are presenting a stand featuring works by all of our artists at the FIG Bilbao Contemporary Art Fair.

From November 25th to 28th, 2021.

FAIR SCHEDULE

Thursday 25th. 11:00-14:30. 16:00-21:30.

Friday 26th. 11.00 - 21.00h.

Saturday 27th. 11.00 - 21.30h.

Sunday 28th. 11.00 - 20.00h.

The fair will offer a comprehensive in-person program at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao from November 25 to 28, featuring more than 60 galleries and 500 works. It will also include numerous parallel activities such as conferences, debates, live demonstrations, and workshops. These activities will also be broadcast on the www.figonlinefair.com platform, launched in 2020 in response to the global health emergency.

FIG Bilbao's international reach, in its quest to broaden its reach and support contemporary printmaking and art on paper in general, continues to grow steadily year after year. For its tenth anniversary, Portugal is the guest country. Paula Rego, one of the greatest names in Portuguese art, has exhibited at the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), is the featured artist at the fair with a series of 31 prints, "Nursery Rhymes," inspired by English children's songs and poems. The work of Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, one of the most prominent figures in Portuguese painting and graphic art, is the focus of FIG Bilbao's exhibition at the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, beginning November 12.

Urban artist Casassola will perform a Street Art Live Painting action on Saturday and Sunday as part of the fair's official activities, which you can see here.
