In this exhibition, we will be able to enjoy the works David Heras has been developing in recent years, which are part of the series "Determinism, Chaos, Chance, and Uncertainty," DECAIN . A series in which he works with these four elements and pictorial space, investigating the relationship between them.
In the artist's own words, "from a theoretical framework and in a practical way, I investigate the relationship that might exist between all of them and the small differences and boundaries they generate as part of the pictorial process. New questions, doubts, and answers arise. To what extent is chaos controllable? Is chance the driving force of creation? Is the artist? A journey, an experience, a very necessary experience, always through color and the relationship it creates with the pictorial space."
In this way he achieves works of great visual power where color prevails and where he returns to a more temperamental work, to pure painting.

David Heras 's career bases his creation on fields that might seem distinct and even opposed: analog and digital. In the former, he approaches abstract expressionism or even informalism, but the truth is that he cannot be pigeonholed into any rigid category: there's no need to talk about the creative process of this complex combination.
In the second, in digital work, generated electronically and with multiple origins, it could be formally defined as digital dynamic abstract expressionism, within the post-digital movement: the pieces will be mixed again later and enter into a kind of everlasting and at the same time virtual creation loop.
