Under the title The Power of Presence , Mujeres Mirando Mujeres presents its first collective exhibition made up of artists who have been presented in the three previous editions of MMM by various prominent cultural agents from all over the country and who have been invited through a call .

The power of presence takes a step further for which it will be the 4th edition of the project Women Looking at Women that jumps like this from the virtual plane to a physical space with the aim of bringing together those artists who reflect on the positioning of women in the art world and the questioning of places or schemes  to those of us who have been relegated

From Women Looking at Women they explain:

We sought out works that show us the change we are all creating, other visual possibilities through the eyes of women artists currently working. How their work shakes all the emblems of power and authority imposed until now. Works that change and question the discourse of dominance, narratives that position themselves from a liberating perspective for women within art, as artists in society and as agents of transformation of reality .

About Women Looking at Women.

MMM started As a timid project in 2015 , it was still committed to continuity and advocacy, with the conviction that exceptional women were needed to grow. To achieve this, it enlisted the involvement of seven bloggers and seven artists.

In the 2nd edition It went on to have two distinct sections. On the one hand, interviews with artists that would be conducted by bloggers, journalists, or communicators specializing in art. And on the other, artist presentations in the form of a short curatorial text that would make up the novelty of this edition . Curators, museologists , theorists , art space managers , art fair directors , and gallery owners made up a large group of experts, totaling 13 art managers, 14 communicators, and 27 artists.

For the 3rd edition , MMM continues its motivation to give prominence to female artists, as well as to the art agents who every day commit to giving space and value to the creators with whom they work. They all put their intelligence and expertise at the service of art, as women and as professionals. We have 29 artists, 11 bloggers, and 23 art managers. In addition , the new event of the year brought together to 6 invited projects, all of which had been carried out with the aim of giving visibility and space to those initiatives managed and/or curated by art managers.

The power of presence.
